We got married on the 'Carole Ann' yacht on September 21st 2009. We had seen the boat decorated for a wedding on our previous trip to Fethiye and it looked so gorgeous that we cancelled our church wedding in England in order to do things a little bit more special, and we were certainly not disappointed. From our first contact, Carole was extremely helpful, every aspect of the wedding was organized for us, which made everything very smooth and calm for us. It is difficult when both of you are working full time to organize wedding, but there was no stress at all. Carole has done the organizing hundreds of times so every detail had been thought about and dealt with very professionally. We had seen adverts by holiday companies and other local Turkish agencies sometimes offering to undercut the price but I am so glad that we weren't tempted to change. Because as Carole is English she understands what British couples want and expect from their wedding day, which perhaps, others may not. The paperwork, which sounds daunting, was a breeze - again due to Carole and her friendly helpful team. I really can't stress enough the importance of having someone with you who knows how the system works - we have heard some horror stories from people who have tried to organize things for themselves in Turkey. Our wedding day was absolutely the best time of our lives- there were 50 of us on the yacht and ALL of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to - they are still talking about how fantastic it was and its now 4 months on. The staff were brilliant, the ceremony was really moving with lots of tears, the registrar was lovely and the belly dancer was fabulous - a definite must at a wedding in Turkey. It truly was the best day ever and we wouldn't change a thing about it. I highly recommend Carole and her great team and we are currently trying to sort out a trip to Fethiye for our anniversary so that we can go onto the 'Carole Ann' again. We would like to thank Carole and her team for the perfect wedding day that we will never forget. From my first email until the end of our holiday Carole was at hand to organise and reassure. Our venue (beach location) was decorated beautifully and every detail was taken care of by Carole. From the beginning of our ceremony to the end of the night our guests and ourselves were looked after and nothing was too much trouble. The dvd and photo's were also amazing and such good value for money along with the whole wedding package. I would highly recommend using the hairdresser recommended by Carole, she was lovely and did exactly what we asked for. Lastly the food and the wedding cake were delicious! Carole and her assistant/driver were very helpful with our requests and very flexible and helpful and made the wedding as smooth and stress free. One of the best things we found was being able to deal directly with Carole who were only ever a phone call or email away and thereby giving us a very personal service. Even down to providing a mobile phone to contact her whilst being in Turkey a week before the wedding, so we had no stress in contacting her should we have any questions etc. From the first communication right through to the day itself we were given an excellent and friendly, personal service and a memorable and romantic wedding setting. One of the initial reasons for us deciding to book with Carole and Tafun was that their wedding package offered a flexible service enabling us to add or change elements to meet our requirements and dealing with all legal matters. These formalities were dealt with effectively and without any hidden cost and very speedily. We were so pleased with the hundreds of wedding photographs and the dvd giving us a full account of the whole experience. Our guests at the wedding have not stopped telling us what a wonderful time they had and friends who have seen the photos and dvd so wish they could have been with us. We would recommend Carole's wedding service to anyone interested in finding a very special and personalised wedding service in one of the most stunning locations in the world. Our wedding truly was an amazing day. It was everything that we could have imagined and more – an idyllic location, fantastic food and wine and sunshine.
