When Hubby was titled ‘boyfriend’ he popped the question, to which I said ‘Yes!’ without hesitation! But where were we to marry?

We had been on many holidays to Turkey and as weddings are notoriously expensive in the UK and most end up with a huge debt hanging over them afterwards and in addition you are not guaranteed the weather, we almost instantly agreed we should marry on the beach in Turkey.

Having visited a few online forums and wedding websites in the area, we swiftly settled on Beach Weddings by Carole, because of the brilliant reviews and of course we fell in love with the photos on their website!

I sent an email to Lynette with my enquiries and I was impressed with how quickly she came back to me. Any further queries I had were always responded to promptly, which again, I was impressed with. Lynette went through all the various options that were available to us, which were many.

If the sand element of a beach wedding isn’t really your thing, they have options for ceremonies at a non-sandy beach, there are options for beautiful hotels with panoramic views as your ceremony back-drop and there is even an option to get married on a yacht! Whatever your preference, whatever your budget, this team will bend over backwards to make your day both unique and incredible; the possibilities are endless!

Lynette sent us an extremely detailed and informative pack of what was on offer in terms of location, entertainment, catering etc and the information also guided you through the legalities which needed to be done in advance of your wedding. Everything was so well organised that, as a Bride, all I had to think about was my dress, shoes, wedding bands, wedding favours and wedding music!

Beach Weddings by Carole have contacts for everything; hair and make-up, flowers, wedding cake and they take away all the hard work! We both felt that all we had to do was turn up! We were guided and carried by the team at all times, making our work effortless and stress-free.

A couple of days before the wedding we were collected by one of their friendly team who took us to meet Aaron to go through the wedding details so we knew exactly where we needed to be, when we needed to be there and where our guests needed to be for collection to the ceremony. Aaron made a real effort to go through the finer details and was able to answer all our questions about the day. He made sure we were fully prepared and informed before we left him and did not allow us to leave him until he was entirely sure we were comfortable with the plans. Hubby and I both came away feeling confident and excited about our special day.

It was at this meeting that we were able to choose our cake, flowers, have our medical and finish our legalities on the Turkish side of things. It was at this point that things were getting real!!! We were on our way to becoming Husband and Wife and we were feeling excited!

The effort that this team put in went above and beyond the call of duty. For example, as an afterthought whilst sitting by the pool at our hotel, we thought it might have been a nice idea to have a photo of my Husbands’ late parents in a frame and placed somewhere visible at the reception. We asked one of the team where we could organise this in terms of printing and buying a frame, to which he kindly replied that he would organise if we sent a photo directly to his phone….and he did not fail to deliver! (thank you Savash!)

Nobody can fully prepare for the emotions that you will feel on your special day, but at least with the wedding planners we chose, the practicalities were entirely taken care of.

Our guests were blown away by the location and the setting of our wedding. They were buzzing from start to finish (as were Hubby and I) and got seriously excited when they watched hubby arrive to the ceremony, on the beach, by speed boat…a real James Bond!

The ceremony area was picturesque and stunning. The reception area was gorgeous and it was clear that Beach Weddings by Carole most certainly do not lack in their attention to detail. The tables looked immaculate in presentation and wouldn’t have looked out of place in a 5* London hotel! Additionally, it was clear that our requests regarding decorations and ambiance etc were taken on-board.

The ceremony and reception were beautifully captured by their professional and experienced photographer, Umit, who certainly knew what he was doing with his camera lens! He came to meet us at our hotel with our beautiful wedding album just two days after our magical day, where we were able to re-live our experience through his stunning photographs. He also gave us a memory stick of all the photos he had taken on the day including the video footage he had taken, which we excitedly went through almost as soon as we had returned home! There were actually so many amazing photos on this stick, that I sent them off to be made into a book, as the wedding album included in our package just wasn’t big enough to house the array of amazing photos that Umit took!

This team of amazing people strive to make your special day magical and far exceeded our expectations. The experience from start to finish was entirely faultless and for us, as a couple, was made effortless by this professional, dedicated and experienced organisation. I cannot recommend Beach Weddings by Carole enough, and whilst there might be a few wedding planners in the area, I seriously doubt whether they are in the same league as this bunch! Personally, I would not waste your time with other wedding planners; these guys are the crème de la crème and at the top of their game. We had the best day of our lives and nothing could have topped what this team did for us!

So, in light of our amazing experience, our gratitude extends to Lynette, Aaron, Jo, Savash, Alex, Umit, our DJ for providing the tunes enjoyed on the awesome star-lit dance floor, our fire-dancer for his mesmerising display, everyone at Billy’s Beach and the rest of the team at Beach Weddings by Carole, who all do weddings as if their lives depended on it!
