Hi Carole We are sorry for the late reply, we have been all wrapped up with getting Christmas and New Year out of the way. How is everything over there? We cant believe that its been almost 8 months since our fabulous wedding day. Every moment of the wedding day was everything and more that we ever could have dreamed of. We cannot fault the service that we recieved from yourself and the team that you have there aswell. Every niggly question that i had, i would email and would get a reply within 12 hours! At first me and Adam was a bit aprehensive about booking with a company that we have never met before, but after speaking to you and being able to communicate with you so easily, we could not say no. We initially booked our wedding through First Choice, then came across your website once we had booked with First Choice. Afetr discussing prices etc with you, we cancelled with First Choice and booked with you. I can imagine that ammount of money we have saved will be in the thousands! The trip to Antalya is definatly an experience ha! If i can give any advice... it would be to wrap up, it gets so cold going up and down those mountains! This takes a full day from around 6am until around 4 - 5pm depending on where you are. Teresa made this journey barable for us, blasting out ABBA all the way there and all the way back having a good sing along haha! She is a lovely lady and we wouldnt have been able to do that day without her. She knows Antalya and the mountains like the back of her hand. We couldnt have wished for a better day. Carole you advised us to have our wedding at 5pm or after because of the heat, but us being as stubborn as we are, wanted the wedding at 3pm. We met half way and had the wedding at 4pm, looking back you are definatly right! Even though the wedding was at the beginning of May and the heat isnt that intense, it was so hot on the beach! Even so... it was still fabulous! The wedding grounds are stunning and people are constantly saying that the wedding pictures are amazing. The setting for the photos is gorgeous! The ceremony is a traditional Turkish ceremony where the Bride and Groom sit down facing the guests and say their vows. We both had a few tears in our eyes whilst saying our vows! The meal at the wedding was a buffet of BBQ food which you chose yourself, such as steak, fish, chicken, rice, potatos and a gorgeous salad. Everyone at our wedding has said that it is the best meal that they have had all holiday! You do get to chose your own wedding cake aswell on the trip to Antalya, Teresa shows you a selection of Tukrish cakes to chose from. We took our own wedding tooper with us, and she arranged for it to all be done. A few days after the wedding we met up again with you Carole to finalise everything and get our wedding license. I cant belive how fast everything went... from the first time i emailed you to now me writing my testinmonial. I would 1000000000% recommend you and your team to anybody that wants to get married in Turkey. My husbands mum and dad enjoyed it so much.... that they have arranged there wedding through you for next May, so we get to go back and enjoy the wedding as a guest now. Hi Carole To All who read and are thinking of getting married in Turkey. Got to the experts, the proper wedding planners. Thompsons/Thomas Cook do holidays and flights and bus transfers well. Carole at Weddingsturkey does weddings really well. She/they are the experts. We got married in May on the beach at Olu Deniz, having been to Elaine's niece's wedding, organised by Carole, the previous year. That was a fantastic day and we really enjoyed the day. So we decided to get married there ourselves and trusted Carole to organise and plan everything. Did she disappoint us? No, everything went smoothly and we had a fantastic day. All paperwork was correct and everything efficiently done. Not the slightest problem or hitch , we could not have asked for more. Would we recommend Weddingsturkey and Carole and her team? Hi Carole Re: Wedding 21st May 2011 We just wanted to drop you a line in thanks for all you and your team did for us, and how easy and smooth you made the day and how painless the preparation was. Beginning with the trip to Antalya with Jamie and Theresa, who were both helpful and informative whilst still being professional and actually taking care of everything for us, we just followed them around while Theresa did all the work. Then we were shown the setting for our wedding on the blue lagoon, it was breathtaking, couldn't of wanted anywhere more beautiful or tranquil. On the day of the wedding all the stress was taken out of our hands by your fantastic team, we were picked up by yourselves and delivered to the already decorated and prepared venue, the ceremony was carried out and translated for us against the backdrop of the lagoon it was perfect. The seriousness of the occasion was dumbed down a bit when we all, including Susie the translator and the registrar all got a fit of the giggles, which relaxed us completely through the rest of the ceremony, which does not take long, but is still very romantic. following the service the bar was available for us and our guests and the DJ (English) played our chosen selection of oddities for us, we tested him but he managed to come up with all the rubbish we wanted to hear and dance to, which after the consumption of alcohol (lots) we did!!!! We had asked for English style BBQ food and we got exactly what we wanted, steaks, baked pots, chicken etc all done beautifully and with plenty for everyone. Anyone considering marriage abroad couldn't do any better than Turkey, and Carole and their team, thank you so much for making the best day of our lives the easiest. thanks again Mr and Mrs Archer (Mo and Steve) please feel free direct anyone to us via email should they require a recommendation.
